Update!! Teens Initiating Change

Today’s session we examined what crime is and how it affects them and our community. We also explored the causes of youth violence, and learned about how different crimes vary in degree of seriousness. Chief K. Roberts and his staff surprised the group with a visit and joined in on the discussion. We had good dialog and shared a lot of laughter.

Captain Palmer,

First let me say that the Ice Cream/Community Family Day was a "Great Success".

Thank you and your team for supporting our Community event this past Saturday June 15th.  Your team helped make a difference with their presence and communicating with Homeowners, families, friends and kids throughout the community.  There were over 100 people from Villages of Lake Ridge and Red Gate Estates communities that attended throughout the day.

Attached are some pictures taken at the event.

Again, Thank you and your team for serving our Community and support.

Citizens Police Academy Update!!

Citizens Police Academy Update!!

Our 10th class for this session was held this past Monday, and Clayton County Code Enforcement gave them an ear full. In this class, the topic ranged from force cleans, Maintenance of home, Top 10 Residential Ordinance Violations, and all the ways to file a complaint. As faith would have it, our partner Hartfield-Jackson Airport representatives stopped in to deliver snacks and coffee to keep us fresh.

Stay tuned for our graduation update.
