Always remember to lock your car doors! Don't make it easy for thieves to take your belongings.

Thieves are always looking for a quick and easy way to take things we work hard to obtain. Don't just give away your belongings, because you left your car door unlocked. The majority of vehicle thefts occur, because of the opportunity given by the owner. This means don't leave items sitting on seats, on the floorboards, in cup holders, or any other open compartments in your vehicle. Don't wait to put purses and other bags in your trunk when you arrive to your destination, do that before you get in the area. Tinted windows are not an excuse for leaving items in otherwise visible parts of your vehicle.

Always be sure to watch out for your surroundings, hide your valuables from public view, and always secure your property.
