On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at approximately 1430 hrs., Clayton County Police officers

Update on Clayton County Citizens Police Academy
OMG! we don’t know if we told you Clayton County
Citizens, how awesome you are, and you guys impress us every week in our
Citizens Police Academy class. This week
Narcotic shared with you a wealth of information and answered all the questions
you asked.
Then you took it a step further to build your knowledge and volunteer
some of your time to show just how much you do care about the county you live
in. When The National Explosives Detection Canine Team from our very own
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport visited our class. They summoned
you to help them with their program at the airport and you rose to the
occasion. The National Explosives Detection
Canine Team exists to deter and detect the introduction of explosives devices
into the transportation system.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month;
It is necessary to increase awareness to prevent all types of child abuse and
neglect as a community. Child abuse and emotional trauma affect children of all
ages, races, and socio-economic status. The abuse will occur in places that are
familiar to the child. This abuse is usually
done by someone that the child knows. Our
children depend on all of us to advocate and protect them.

Batting Cage
Great day amazing residents of Clayton County! As we were conducting our final walk through, preparing for the Eggstravaganza that's going to be absolutely incredible for the children, I noticed a batting cage next to one of the ball fields. I asked the staff about it and they advised me that the batting cage is new. So I felt it would be great to make a post about it. It is that time of year, so it only makes sense. Here is a photo of the new batting cage at Carl Rhodenizer Rec Center (3499 Rex Rd., Rex, GA).
